Naive-Juliet

Short-tempered-Lady Capulet

Thoughtful -Nurse

My first impression of Juliet is that she is still a innocent child and doesn’t have much experience of the real world.

“Words can inspire and words can destroy choose yours we’ll ”

The language used in this quote expresses how powerful words are. I like this quote because shows how easily it can inspire someone or make them feel bad. This is a very wise quote as it teaches you to think before you say anything.

2a) “There was a hand in the darkness, and it held a knife” This explains what the paragraph is going to about as it is talking about the knife. This is called framing because its introducing a detailed description of the knife. ” The knife had done almost everything it was brought to do, and both the blade and the handle were wet.” This is framing the rest of the paragraph because it’s is talking about how the knife had been brought to kill.”The street door was still open.” This shows that the paragraph is going to talk about how the man had got in the house.”The man Jack paused on the landing” This shows that the paragraph is going to be based about what had made the man stop.”The hunt was almost over” This quotation shows what the paragraph is going to be based about by showing the ending bit of the murders in the house.

This house believes that the gap between the rich and the poor provides an incentive for success’Task 1 05.05.16

My opinion about this argument is that it is not fair that the rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer. There are a lot of off people in this world that do not have a decent life and probably wish to die because they literally do not have anything. I think that if most of the rich people weren’t so selfish that most of the people in this world could have decent lives. A lot of the rich people don’t even know what to spend their money on and most of the poor people can’t even afford to buy food every day. I think that they deserve to have a decent life because that work really hard to survive.

Language in the prophecies of Macbeth

In the play Macbeth the witches give Macbeth a lot of prophecies that have created a lot of tension throughout the play. “No man of woman born shall harm Macbeth” The language of the quotation is ambiguous as it has two separate meanings. The first meaning is what is in the quotation and the second meaning is that no man that was given birth by a woman can harm Macbeth but Macduff is an exception. He was ripped out of his mother’s womb so that means that he is able to harm Macbeth. The ambiguous language confuses Macbeth as at that time Macbeth does not know that you could be born by being ripped out of your mother’s womb.

How does Shakespeare create tension in the play?

Shakespeare creates tension through Dramatic Irony. This is because at the beginning of the play he shows us how the witches are very malevolent as they cursed an innocent woman just beacuse she did not want to give her any of her peanuts. The Witch curses the woman’s husband whom was a sailor, but also curses the rest of the people in the boat. The curse was that the husabnd and the rest of the people in the boat would never go to sleep and would always feel extreamaly hungry. This shows that we can not trust the witches where as Macbeth does not know this at the begginig of the play; he is either extremaly greedy or very naive. This creates dramtic irony as the audience knows that we can not trust the witches where as Macbeth does not this creates tension throughout the play
